Kabul Brothels Continue to Service NATO

The unofficial message from the West to victims of oppression is:

“We will liberate you as long as your women agree to service our officials and contractors.”

That is a sad reality of both NATO and United Nations peacekeeping missions.

The U.S. State Department’s “Trafficking in Persons Report 2010" highlights the continuing growth of brothels in Kabul following the U.S. invasion in 2001. Many of the victims are poor Afghan women. A press release issued on January 13, 2011, by the U.S. Embassy in Kabul blamed the scandal on lax enforcement against traffickers by the Afghan Government, with no recommendation that the “johns” or clients be prosecuted (because many of them appear to be NATO and U.N. officials and their contractors). The most that the U.S. Embassy would meekly say is that:

“Some international security contractors may be involved in the sex trafficking of these women.” (it is interesting how ineffective U.S. intelligence agencies seem to be at determining brothel ownership in Kabul, despite the importance of the issue due to the use of these facilities by NATO officials)

This issue is not new. The British newspaper “The Sun” ran a story on April 7, 2008 entitled:

“NATO Men Romp in Afghan Brothels”

Sun Defense Editor Tom Newton Dunn detailed how NATO troops were observed drinking contraband alcohol and heading off to rooms with prostitutes. It quoted a NATO official as stating that one out of every five NATO civilians in Afghanistan frequent these brothels. The report quoted Afghan Member of Parliament Shukria Barakzai as stating that if this conduct continues: “They will undermine their reason for being here.”

“After the fall of the Taliban in 2001 women were promised new freedoms. But now many are being forced into prostitution as a result of worsening poverty.”

“Lifting the Veil on the Afghan Sex Trade,” by Rajeshree Sisodia (April 9, 2006) published by the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA)

Richard Lardner, reporting for the “Huffington Post” on November 10, 2009, recounted the testimony of James Gordon, former director of operations for ArmorGroup. Gordon stated he had briefed State Department officials on the fact that ArmorGroup employees were frequenting brothels known to house trafficked women, but the Department refused to take any action.

In “Afghanistan: Mirage of the Good War,” appearing at PakPeace.net (July 19, 2009) Tariq Ali wrote:

“Even sympathetic observers admit that their (NATO) alcohol consumption and patronage of a growing number of brothels in Kabul is arousing public anger and resentment. Many who detest the Taliban are so angered by the failures of NATO and the behavior of its troops that they are pleased there is some opposition.”

These outrages are not limited to Afghanistan. In a chilling book: “Rape Warfare - The Hidden Genocide in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia” by Beverly Allen, she reports on numerous sightings during the 1980’s of U.N. personnel and UNPROFOR troops at Serbian rape locations, including Sonja’s Kin Tiki restaurant/rape camp in Vogosca and the Park Hotel also in Vogosca. “Visitors” to these locations allegedly included the U.N. Protection Force Commander in Sarajevo, Canadian Major General Lewis MacKenzie, along with senior military observer Richard Grey. Witnesses observed New Zealand, French, Ukrainian and African peacekeepers at these locations.

On May 6, 2004, the BBC headline was “Kosovo UN Troops fuel sex trade.” It recited a just-released report from Amnesty International that concluded that UN and NATO troops in Kosovo were helping to promote the forced sexual exploitation of women and of girls as young as 11 years old. The number of locations in Kosovo where such victimization of women and girls took place rose from 18 in 1999 to 200 in 2003. The report stated that the U.N. had quietly reassigned ten police officers, and NATO approximately twenty-seven soldiers, but apparently there were no prosecutions of these men.

An excellent analysis of some of these issues is set out by Carol D. Leonnig of the Washington Post and Nick Schewellenbach of the Center for Public Integrity who co-authored the article, “Despite Allegations, No Prosecutions for War Zone Sex Trafficking,” July 26, 2010.

Al-Qaeda does not have to make up stories about the West abusing Muslim women. Al-Qaeda merely has to report the truth. Continued NATO, U.N. and American silence and inaction as to these abuses is an outrage and may well be helping to fuel the war against the West in Afghanistan.

The first step is to acknowledge the problem. The second step is for NATO and the United Nations to recognize that they cannot deploy two hundred thousand contractors and other civilians into a war zone and not expect this to happen. NATO countries have to begin working to reduce or eliminate their overdependence on contractors and other civilians. Finally, NATO countries and the United Nations need to begin prosecuting their own nationals, soldiers and contractors for sexual misconduct and they need to begin disciplining their own officials when they fail to act against these criminal elements.

THE BEAUTIFUL DREAM & SHAYKH USAMAH BIN LAADIN (RH)

Limited withdrawal = failure

Statement of Islamic Emirate regarding Obama’s announcement of the withdrawal of a limited number of US troops from Afghanistan

American President Barack Obama, who had given hope to his nation of withdrawing troops from the exhaustive Afghan war one and half year earlier, finally announced that 10000 soldiers will be withdrawn by the end of this year. Barack Obama made his announcement of withdrawing 10000 troops in the whole year at a time when the American nation’s hatred for this war has reached a tipping point. A recent poll suggested that most Americans want to bring the occupation of Afghanistan to an end as quickly as possible and want all American soldiers to be removed from this futile war.

Nasser Abdo: Victim of America’s Pornography obsession

Nasser Abdo is a Muslim, and a soldier in the American army. In 2010 Nasser applied for Conscientious Objector (C.O.) status from the U.S. Army. He refused to be a part of the unit that was being deployed to Afghanistan, because, he exclaims, as a Muslim he is forbidden to kill Muslims.
I don’t believe I can involve myself in an army that wages war against Muslims. I don’t believe I could sleep at night if I take part, in any way, in the killing of a Muslim.
Just as his Conscientious Objector status was approved by the U.S. Army, images of Child Pornography was allegedly found in his government issued computer.
“It has been nearly 10 months since the investigation started and I am only now being charged with child pornography when my C.O. claim is approved. I think that all sounds pretty fishy,” says Abdo.
Fishy indeed it is, that the Military had to wait 10 months to check the content of his Computer. Given that the U.S. is so concerned about its Security, and the fact that just 20 months ago, another Muslim soldier, Nidal Malik Hasan, had opened fire at Fort Hood, killing 13 people and wounding 29 others, it is not easy to digest the U.S. Army’s claim that they found porn materials only two days after Abdo was approved by the Secretary of the Army as a conscientious objector.
He’s now pending court-martial for alleged possession of child pornography, his discharge will not be approved until all disciplinary actions have been resolved.
Nasser’s is not a peculiar case, and he is definitely not the first victim of America’s obsession with Pornography. Days after the Seal Team 6 raided the Abbottabad compound of Usama bin Laden, the U.S. commandos claimed that they found a fairly “extensive” and “modern” porn stash. But what these commondos or officials were unable to explain was, how there came to be an “extensive” stash of electronic porn in a house, which according to the U.S. itself had no internet connection.
In 2003, during the Invasion of Iraq, the CIA, came up with a number of ideas to malign Saddam Hussein’s image in the eyes of Iraqi people. According to this Washington post report:
One was to create a video purporting to show the Iraqi dictator having sex with a teenage boy, according to two former CIA officials familiar with the project.“It would look like it was taken by a hidden camera,” said one of the former officials. “Very grainy, like it was a secret videotaping of a sex session.”The idea was to then “flood Iraq with the videos,” the former official said.
The report also says, that the CIA spooks made a video showing Usama bin Laden and his companions sitting around a camp-fire and drinking liquor with teenage boys. The actors were drawn from “some of us darker-skinned employees,” a former CIA official said. Do I even have to tell why they did this?
It’s not just Muslims that America’s porn obsession has victimised, there are non-Muslims too. Back in 1989, during U.S’s first ‘War on Terror,’ Manuel Noriega, the CIA installed Dictator of Panama, was captured by US forces, Time magazine, which was one of the press units that was given access to Noriega’s inner privacy reported:
But other evidence suggested that the dictator was losing control of himself: U.S. troops searching his various hideouts found, along with pictures of Adolf Hitler, collections of pornography and sophisticated weapons and more than 50 kilos of cocaine. In one Noriega guesthouse, searchers found a bucket of blood and entrails, which they said may have been used for occult rites to protect him. Was the accused drug trafficker deteriorating into a megalomaniac drug user?
Michael Parenti later noted, that the pornography was Spanish language copies of Playboy(which until the invasion of Internet was many American’s daily dose), the picture of Hitler was in a Time-Life photo history of World War II. The “Voodoo” was nothing but San Blas Indian carvings, and the cocaine was tortilla flour.
These incidents show us the shabby and dubious world that the U.S. has created to protect its status and hegemony, and the fallacious tales it concocts to bring into Justice what it calls its “Enemies.” Its just time for people to wake up, and realise that what it’s told to see and believe is not always what it truly is, and as Writer and Activist, Yvonne Ridley says, “The gullible truly want to believe their government and so they do, but cynics – and they are growing in number even in America these days – recognise weak, transparent propaganda when they see it.”

Shock: Dept. of Defense Vindicates Fort Hood Killer

A shocking decision made by the secretary of the Army last month — in the case of an U.S. Army soldier with the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell who refused to deploy to Afghanistan claiming that Islamic law prevented him from killing other Muslims — vindicates Fort Hood killer Major Nidal Hasan. He made identical claims and threatened that “adverse events” would occur if military officials didn’t accede to shariah principles.
The subject of the Fort Campbell case is PFC Nasser Abdo, who was granted conscientious objector status last month, only to be brought up on charges last week — two days after being informed of the secretary of the Army’s decision — after child pornography was found on his government-issued computer. The news reports about Abdo’s arrest were the first to mention the Army recognizing him as a conscientious objector. After his arrest, Abdo is now claiming that the child porn charges are the Army’s way of retaliating against him.
Abdo’s case has been championed by a number of media outlets, including Al-Jazeera and CNN. According to the Associated Press, in his claim for conscientious objector status, Abdo cited a number of Islamic scholars and Koranic verses in his defense:
I realized through further reflection that God did not give legitimacy to the war in Afghanistan, Iraq or any war the U.S. Army would conceivably participate in.
Abdo told Al-Jazeera:
I don’t believe I can involve myself in an army that wages war against Muslims. I don’t believe I could sleep at night if I take part, in any way, in the killing of a Muslim.
He also told ABC News:
A Muslim is not allowed to participate in an Islamicly unjust war. Any Muslim who knows his religion or maybe takes into account what his religion says can find out very clearly why he should not participate in the U.S. military.
In a perverse twist, the ABC News report noted that a website dedicated to his cause operated by his friends claimed that Abdo:
… will be at danger of harassment and even death from his fellow soldiers, many of whom will be resentful of PFC Abdo’s religious beliefs and his desire to be discharged from the military.
No mention was made by ABC News of the potential of harassment and death for non-Muslim soldiers if Abdo wasn’t granted conscientious objector status, as was the case at Fort Hood with Major Nidal Hasan.
In Major Hasan’s case, the Washington Post reported just days after the Fort Hood massacre that he had warned his Army colleagues and supervisor at Walter Reed of “adverse events” if Muslims were not granted conscientious objector status. The warning occurred during a June 2007 Power Point presentation that was part of his psychiatric residency program. Major Hasan cited previous cases of Muslims murdering their fellow soldiers, spying against the U.S., deserting their units, and refusing to deploy as examples of the kinds of “adverse events” that would follow if the Army didn’t bow to the precepts of Islamic law.
Some Muslim groups have disagreed with Major Hasan and PFC Abdo, such as the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, run by retired Navy Commander Zuhdi Jasser. And Muslim soldiers at both Fort Hood and Fort Campbell, as well as in Iraq and Afghanistan, are serving without any qualms.
But as veteran Pentagon reporter Bill Gertz reported in the Washington Times in March 2010, groups such as the Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA) have issued fatwas prohibiting Muslims from even serving as military contractors aiding U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. And the notorious Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) even went so far as to write a letter to Defense Secretary Robert Gates on behalf of another Muslim Army soldier stationed at Fort Hood claiming conscientious objector status on the same grounds as Hasan and Abdo.

American Democracy in action

KAPISA - At least four schoolchildren and a teacher were killed and several others injured in a missile attack launched by the French aggressors at a school in the province of Kapisa, Central Afghanistan.

A member of the provincial council also confirmed the attack, Press TV reported on Monday (20/6/2011).

Meanwhile, the puppet president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai in Kabul said that they only obtained information about the murder of a school teacher and some children and number of others wounded. The puppet officials did not mention that the French aggressors have bombarded the school during school hours.

It should be kept in mind that at the end of May, American terrorists had killed 12 children and two women in Afghanistan.

At that time, it was also known that an air raid on a village in the province of Helmand also caused six children and a woman to be severely wounded.

In that case, as usual, the NATO terrorists called that murder as an “accident” and they “promised” to carry out investigation. But until now, the case has, as if, evaporated without a trace.

Meanwhile, as has been proven by the sources of Karzai, civilian houses were targeted by missile attacks from three NATO helicopters and not the positions of the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Women and children at home do not expect the attack and they're not hiding from anything. They were deliberately killed by rockets in retaliation for the attacks carried out by the Mujahideen against the military base in Nevzade, how cowardly!

It should be noted, that the NATO terrorists regularly and systematically kill Afghan children, bomb wedding parties, funeral processions, conduct missile and artillery attacks on villages, where the Mujahideen do not have a presence there. And each time an incident occurs, the NATO terrorists say that “they will conduct an investigation”.

The American terrorists also kill Muslim children in Pakistan and Waziristan, using unmanned aircrafts. Unlike in Afghanistan, after the murder in Waziristan, the American crusader forces do not deem it necessary to respond to accusations against innocent children there.

Al-Qaeda After Usama By Allah's Command Will Remain Standing By Sheikh: Abu Sa’d al-‘Amili (May Allah Protect Him)

We believe and are absolutely certain that Qaedat al-Jihad is from this group, by the will of Allah, for they are obedient to Allah’s orders in spite of the harm inflicted upon them constantly, and in spite of the siege imposed upon them from every side, and in spite of the scarcity of aid and the plentitude and variety of enemies. There has never been at any time in history such a congregation of people from different nations and walks of life as have today gathered against the blessed Qaedat al-Jihad from among Jews and Christians, haters and hypocrites, apostates and secularists, Rafidites and people of different sects, all of them have joined together to fight this organization.
